We are now looking to recruit an Experienced Assistant Accountant in our Gloucester Ford Dealership.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and build your future career with a company who firmly see the Assistant Accountant's role as support to the Accountant in all aspects of the accounts function within the dealership accounts.  This will include support in the management accounts, bank reconciliation, bank Account, Cash Control Accounts, Manufacturer Bonus, Finance Debtors Accounts, Accruals and Prepayments. There will also be the supervision responsibilities within the day to day running of the department. There are monthly vehicle stock checks carried out, which the successful candidate would need to take part in. There will be additional ad-hoc duties including some general administration.

You will be a confident individual with an accounts background, ideally within the motor industry and preferably with a working knowledge of the Kerridge and Reef systems.  You will be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, ambitious, willing to undertake further training and development and possess a real desire to further your accounting career within the motor industry.
