We are seeking a General Manager for our established Morpeth Ford dealership. We firmly believe that this dealership is capable of significant enhancement and are looking for an individual who can galvanize the team and take this dealership to the next level. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in their role in a franchise environment and must be committed to achieving excellence. You will be able to clearly demonstrate your ability to improve sales and aftersales performance quickly and sustainably by increasing revenues, controlling costs and generating efficiencies. You should have a comprehensive knowledge of Manufacturer CSI programs (ideally Ford) and be able to demonstrate your ability to constantly achieve strong results in this area.
You must also have strong leadership and people management skills as your primary focus is to lead your team to deliver their business objectives. You will be expected to drive the business forward and maximise customer satisfaction whilst motivating and managing the whole team. This includes setting the vision and objectives, motivating them to achieve the objectives and ensuring that effective performance management techniques are in place. You should be capable of providing first class coaching, support and training to line managers to support this.
You will be able to demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong communication and organisational skills. You must be able to demonstrate your drive, energy, attitude, character and commitment at interview.
