Each step on the ladder builds on the experience gained in the previous role to ensure you to have the skills and confidence to carry out your role and deliver great results for customers.

The Vertu Technician Career Pathway-
Improver Technician
You will need to have a recognised Apprenticeship to NVQ level 3 and be able to carry out the full basic servicing and repairs process including using our VHC process and video recording system.
Service & Maintenance Technician
For those with a little more experience… you will have carried out basic electrical and mechanical repairs, removed and refitted major units (engines and gearboxes), fitted manufacturer accessories and audio equipment and be able to strip down and recondition major units. You will have a good understanding of manufacturer warranty systems and technical bulletins and will have successfully carried out road testing for your own work.
Service & Diagnostic Technician
For the specialists! You will focus on a specific field and will have the experience to support other technicians with diagnostic problems. You will have the ability to diagnose issues with current vehicle management & control systems.
Senior Technician
Our Senior Technicians are advanced technicians with significant experience of using manufacturer diagnostic equipment, and diagnosing concerns with all current management systems. You will carry out quality control checks and have in depth knowledge of one or more specialisms, with the ability to assist other technicians with diagnostic problems.
Master Technician
The top of the ladder! As a Master Technician you will be highly technical and will have achieved Masters status. You will be our resident expert and will offer in dealership training sessions to your colleagues and act as a coach to the other workshop technicians. You will attend both technical and new launch training and pass on your knowledge to the rest of the team by assessing development needs and delivering ongoing support and technical expertise.
