Evolution is aimed at attracting the brightest and best colleagues from within Vertu Motors and supporting talented individuals like you to reach your full potential as a manager.


WHAT TO EXPECT?

Evolution is a formal programme of learning and development which equips you to be best placed to realise your ambitions and deliver exceptional performance and financial leadership in the future.

The 18-month programme will set you on a career accelerating journey. You won’t be alone - you will be part of a group of 15 Aftersales colleagues from across the business.

It won’t be an easy journey – we will demand a lot from you. We expect that you are enthusiastic about learning new skills and actively progressing your personal development. You’ll be required to demonstrate the highest level of drive, energy and motivation throughout the whole programme. By committing to Evolution you will be agreeing to dedicate time inside and outside of work to the programme, and your personal development.

In return for your hard work you will be provided with a structured programme of learning and development, work based experience and projects and networking opportunities with like-minded colleagues from across the business.

The 18-month structured personal development programme will include:

  • Leadership workshops
  • Personality profiling
  • Formal training courses in job specific skills
  • Work based learning and experience appropriate to the role you are aspiring to
  • Access to a suite of on-line learning opportunities
  • A coach and mentor throughout the programme to assist with career development
  • Access to 360 feedback
  • Support from your Line Manager and the Talent Coordinator, Sue Smeaton at [email protected]

The Aftersales Evolution programme will follow the below timeline:

To make sure you have what it takes, we will put you through a structured selection process including a General Manager / Divisional Aftersales Director endorsement, application, online testing and an assessment centre.

The aim of Evolution is to offer you a range of training and development opportunities to equip you to progress into supervisory or managerial roles in the future, however we cannot guarantee a new role at the end of the programme, your progress within the business will be down to you.

What we will guarantee is TALENTED colleagues with DRIVE, ENERGY, ATTITUDE and CHARACTER who will be ready to achieve the goals they set out at the beginning of the programme... does this sound like you?

You can apply by downloading an application form found here, completing in 500 words why you believe you’re suitable for the programme and outlining your career aspirations. Once complete – you’ll then need to have your application endorsed and agreed by your General Manager/Divisional Aftersales Director, who will complete the application form confirming the reasons why they agree the application. Once complete, you will need to send your application to the Talent Coordinator, Sue Smeaton at [email protected] to progress.

All applications must be received by 03 January 2020.

On submission of your application you will then be asked to complete a number of on-line assessments by 10 January 2020, the results of which will form part of your application. All applications will then be reviewed by a selection panel to determine who will be invited to a function specific assessment centre where the 15 delegates will be selected.
