Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to work in the Amazon/On Buy sales department in one of our most vibrant business units within Vertu Motors plc: Aceparts. Aceparts is a fast-growing e-commerce business which is based from a central warehouse facility in Sittingbourne, Kent.

This is a significant opportunity for the right candidate. This role also affords a brilliant entry point into the high-growth environment of Vertu Motors.

The role is to act as an Amazon/OnBuy Channel Manager for Aceparts, focusing primarily on the Amazon and OnBuy sales verticals and offering support to other verticals, as and when required.

Although reporting into the Head of Marketplaces, the role will also involve working closely with the sales specialists, parts specialists and other teams within the business that your role impacts.

The role is responsible for the Amazon and OnBuy sales verticals and there will be a large emphasis on the sales (in line with the financial plan), and development of the platform to ensure future growth can be achieved, across UK and International channels.

The day-to-day duties of the channel manager will be:

  • To provide relevant and accurate management information, whether that be financial, operational or marketing related, to sales and operational colleagues.
  • Deliver timely and accurate sales reports and marketplace forecasts
  • Ensure new products are launched, as and when they become available
  • Keep existing products up-to-date
  • Maintain active products by way of pricing updates and marketing
  • Leadership and management of the sales platforms
  • Growth and future proofing strategy, both implement and execution

The candidate should be well versed in working with large amounts of data and providing in-depth, meaningful analysis of this data. The role will therefore require exceptional IT and data skills.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in managing Amazon merchant accounts.
