Job description

Here at Vertu BMW Finance Hub we are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join our growing business, covering Vertu Vehicle Solutions brand!

If you are looking for an opportunity to join one of the largest Motor Retailers within the UK, and be offered excellent training and development opportunities, then this could be the ideal role for you.

We are offering a basic salary of up to £26,000 plus a range of company benefits and you will be required to work 37.5hrs a week, Monday to Friday.

You will work alongside the Accountant in the production of spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team, and as an aid to business decisions.

Alongside day to day accounts you will also complete the following tasks:




Balance sheet reconciliations

Accrual and Prepayments

Responsible for the Purchase ledger and banking

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Assistant Accountant, or an experienced Accounts Assistant who is looking to take the next step up. A working knowledge of Kerridge is essential, as well as previous Motor Trade experience. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients and customers.

We are looking for the following attributes:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages
  • Good organisational Skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
