Vertu Motors is the fifth largest automotive retailer in the UK with a network of 155 sales outlets across the UK. Its dealerships operate predominantly under the Bristol Street Motors, Vertu, and Macklin Motors brand names.

We are recruiting for the role of Assistant Accountant for our fast-growing Cosmetic Repair business. The role will be based in Stafford, working 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join a successful and thriving company that offers a varied and exciting role. Reporting into the Financial Controller we are looking for an enthusiastic, talented individual with a keen eye for detail and flair for accounts.

You will be especially competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, be incredibly ambitious and be willing to undertake further training and development. You will also possess a real desire to further your accounting career within the motor industry. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients and customers.

We are looking for the following attributes:

• Experience in an Accounts role
• Experience in the motor industry would be advantageous
• Exceptional Attention to Detail and Accuracy
• Excel and other Microsoft Packages
• Organisational Skills
• Communication Skills
