Vertu BMW Durham are currently looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join our successful team! You will play a vital role within our Aftersales function delivering an excellent customer motoring experience through honesty and trust.
We are offering a basic salary of £30,000 with an OTE of £40,000 plus company benefits.
The main focus of the role is to support the Aftersales Manager in the day to day management of the Department. This will involve ensuring all incoming work is planned in advance as well as managing the time and resource of your team.
You will support in the management of Technicians and a Front of House Service Team and will be responsible for performance management of the team. You will lead, coach and develop your team and know how to get the best out of people so they perform to their highest level.
You will be required to successfully carry out duties and tasks as directed by the Aftersales Manager to achieve targets in line with Group KPI's, in addition to maximising upsell opportunities through the VHC process.
To be successful, you must have experience as a Service Advisor role in a franchised dealership. It would be ideal if you had some management experience however, this isn't essential.
You will be expected to assist the Service Manager to drive the business forward and maximise customer satisfaction whilst motivating the team to achieve dealership targets. You will be able to demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
