Here at Vertu BMW Sunderland, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager to join our successful Aftersales team. You will play a vital role within our Aftersales function, delivering an excellent customer motoring experience through honesty and trust.
We are offering a competitive salary package with an OTE of £40,000 depending upon skills and experience.
The main focus of the role is to support the Service Manager in the day to day management of the Service Department. This will involve ensuring all incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resource of your team. You will assign a team of Technicians to tasks ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to. As a line manager, you will be responsible for performance management and you will lead, coach and develop your team and know how to get the best out of people so they perform to their highest level.
We are looking for an exceptional individual who is able to demonstrate a successful track record within a Service role in a franchised dealership, along with management experience. You will be expected to assist the Service Manager to drive the business forward and maximise customer satisfaction whilst motivating the team to achieve dealership targets. You will be able to demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
