At Bristol Street Motors Ford Birmingham, due to high demand we are expanding our already very successful team and are looking for a very talented individual to join our Sales Team as a Commercial Business Manager.
As a Business Manager, a key element of this role is to provide support to the sales team. You will be responsible for driving the right retail processes with both physical and virtual customers, being the main point of contact for the team for enquiry management and daily diary reviews as well as assisting the sales team in building and presenting deals to the customer following qualification from the sales team. It is important that you understand all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations, to ensure accurate information is given.
This role will require you to build rapport with customers quickly and easily and be able to treat customers fairly. We will expect you to monitor finance performance against budget, as well as identify and address shortfalls. You will work with management to coach and develop the skills of the team to achieve business objectives, logging all activity to monitor performance and measure outcomes.
This is not your typical Finance Business Manager role, as our Sales Executives all work very independently and deal with the majority of finance paperwork themselves, this role is very much a step up from your typical Business Manager Role where you will be rewarded for the department's performance as a whole, this is very much a step in the right direction for a future Sales Manager.
This role offers fantastic work life balance as you will be working Monday - Friday and one in three Saturdays with a day off in lieu the following week. You will also receive a company car and mobile phone. We are offering an excellent salary package with a basic of £30,000 with a OTE of £45,000 plus company benefits. This role is ideal for sales professionals who are customer centric that already have business/sales management experience within the automotive industry and looking to take their career to the next level.
Commercial sales experience is not essential, all the skills and experience that you may have gained whilst working in car dealerships are fully transferable and will give you a fantastic foundation for a career with a franchise that is putting commercial vehicles at the heart of everything they do.
It is essential for the successful candidate to have previous experience as a Business Manager. We want someone who can demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, excel at relationship building, negotiating skills, possess excellent communication, and have the proven ability to use your own initiative. You will also be required to have a full and valid UK Driving Licence.
