Do you want to become part of one of the UK's largest motor retailers? Bristol Street Motors Ford Stoke are recruiting a CMA Dealership Accountant. Vertu Motors is the fifth largest automotive retailer in the UK with a network of 155 sales outlets across the UK.
Our dealerships operate predominantly under the Bristol Street Motors, Vertu, Farnell and Macklin Motors brand names. We are looking for an exceptional motor trade accountant to join our team, and help to continue to deliver on the outstanding results within the business.
The Dealership Accountant's primary role is to provide the General Managers with financial support to drive operational performance. They are responsible for the smooth running of the entire accounts function. A key aspect of the role is the delivery of timely and accurate management accounts and their integration into the Group's standard structures. You will maintain and develop controls to maximise returns and cash flow and utilise your financial and management experience to ensure the effective running of the dealership.
We firmly believe that the Dealership Accountant is the second in command in the dealership. As such, exceptional leadership skills are essential for this role. You must have experience in this role within the motor retail.
You will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Kerridge Accountancy software and be an outstanding leader as you will have a team of six reporting to you.
