Vertu Motors is the fifth largest automotive retailer in the UK with a network of 155 sales outlets across the UK. Our dealerships operate predominantly under the Bristol Street Motors, Vertu, Farnell and Macklin Motors brand names. We are now recruiting for a CRM Manager to join our team! We are looking for someone who is curious about cars and their drivers, and experienced in CRM marketing, to play a leading role in the continuing success of Bristol Street Motors , Macklin Motors (in Scotland), and Motability across the Group.
You'll be in day-to-day charge of CRM activity, in particular using email, SMS and other personalisable channels, that delivers conquest and in-life propositions which generate enquiries for sales, service and parts.
Activity will be directed at both new customers who become known to Bristol Street Motors, Macklin Motors or Motability during the sales process (eg. responding to activity on the website), lapsed customers, and existing customers who we want to keep engaged so they come back for service, accessories and their next car.
Your main customers internally will be the Bristol Street Motors', Macklin Motors' and Motability Retail Marketing teams for sales and service, who take overall responsibility for all marketing activity that supports their retail brand and individual manufacturers.
As part of the CRM team, you will be expected to stay on top of the latest developments in relevant technology and data, and be an ambassador for the capabilities of CRM around the business.
You'll be confident with numbers, data analysis and CRM technology (eg. CDP, Marketing Automation), but also have an eye for effective creativity that is in line with the Bristol Street Motors, Macklin Motors and Motability brands and which customers engage with. This will come from a curiosity about what makes customers tick, and an ability to turn this into actionable insight.
Excellent working with others skills are paramount to ensure the retail teams are inspired by and onboard with best practice, and you'll cement relationships with a sleeves-rolled-up attitude to owning and delivering results.
You'll be joining one of the UK's leading dealership marketing teams, which covers Bristol Street Motors and Macklin Motors, as well as Vertu Motors, and most major manufacturer brands.

For this role we are looking for you have:
- Previous experience in CRM - use of relevant systems, creation and operation of CRM activities
- Confident in using corporate software and online marketing tools
- Driver's License
- Confidence working with, analysing, and drawing conclusions from, data
- Interest in the world of cars and drivers
- Knows how to brief agencies / studios to get good, effective creative work
