We are looking for someone knowledgeable and passionate about email marketing and wider CRM marketing, to play a leading role in the continuing success of Vertu Motors PLC activity in this area.

As a Marketing Executive within the CRM team, you will be working alongside the CRM Operations Manager to deliver successful campaigns and automated, multi-channel journeys that drives customer experience and optimises campaign objectives.

This role provides opportunities to work across a portfolio of brands and multiple internal stakeholders. You will support the CRM team in the day-to-day running of the process, liaising with studio designers and Retail Marketing teams for sales and service, who take overall responsibility for all marketing activity that supports the Vertu brand and individual manufacturers.

As part of the CRM team, you will be expected to stay on top of the latest developments in relevant technology and data, and be an ambassador for the capabilities of CRM around the business.

You'll be confident with numbers, data and CRM technology (e.g. Email Service Providers such as Iterable), but also have an eye for effective creativity that is in line with the various Vertu Motors PLC brands and which customers engage with.

Excellent team work skills are paramount to ensure the retail teams are inspired by and onboard with best practice, and you'll cement relationships with a sleeves-rolled-up attitude to owning and delivering results.

You'll be joining one of the UK's leading dealership marketing teams, which covers Bristol Street Motors and Macklin Motors, as well as Vertu Motors, and most major manufacturer brands.

Main Tasks:

  • Owning and developing the relationship with in-house design team, collaborating with our CRM team to ensure best practice and email journey optimisation.
  • Reviewing and optimising design briefs with consideration of full customer journey.
  • Driving the innovation and testing strategies of email campaigns.
  • Analysing statistical data such as engagement rates to form conclusions that with shape future campaigns. Communicating findings with CRM team and wider Marketing teams.
  • Supporting the implementation of smart automated email campaigns as part of a larger workflow journey that will be agreed by CRM team.
  • Assisting in the develop of a new marketing strategy for prospect and unattached customers
  • Assisting with the development of future customer segmentation strategies.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in Marketing with an understanding of CRM
  • Confident in using corporate software and online marketing tools
  • Confidence working with, analysing, and drawing conclusions from, data
  • Knows how to brief agencies / studios to get good, effective creative work
