The Dealership Accountant's primary role is to provide the General Manager with management and financial support to drive the operational performance of the business. In our world, an Accountants role is much more than just doing the Management Accounts. Alongside that General Manager they will take the lead in the smooth running of the dealership as well as the accounts function and are key in setting the culture. Clearly, a core part of the role is the delivery of timely and accurate management accounts and their integration into the Group's standard structures. You will maintain and develop controls to maximise returns and cash flow and utilise your financial and management experience to ensure the effective running of the dealership. You will be required to oversee the monthly payroll submission for your site to our central payroll team as part of your role.

We are looking for an established dealership accountant from within the motor industry. Franchise experience will be a distinct advantage.

If your application is successful, we will need to complete employment checks prior to you starting with us. For this role, these can include us verifying your recent employment, address and credit history. We may also conduct a criminal record check and a driving licence check.
