An exciting opportunity to join our Honda, Kia, Toyota and Motorcycles Division at Vertu Motors!

If you are an experienced Aftersales Manager looking to progress your career, or a Group Aftersales Manager wanting to join one of the leading motor retailers in the UK then we could have the perfect role for you. We are looking to recruit a Divisional Aftersales Manager to cover our dealerships within the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the North East to help deliver our Aftersales strategy and drive sustainable performance for the long term.

You will have significant operational engagement with the aftersales management teams in our Kia, Toyota, Ford and BMW Motorrad dealerships who will look to you for support, coaching and direction. As such the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and develop the skills and careers of technicians, service and parts advisors, and of a wider management team. Developing high-performing teams who deliver the highest levels of customer service time after time will be one of your primary goals.

Reporting directly into our Divisional Aftersales Director this role forms part of a divisional team who together set and drive the direction and strategy for the dealerships. Within this role you will provide your Operational Director with expert aftersales support and take the lead in relation to reviewing technological changes and manufacturer initiatives in relation to their impact on the division's operational performance and to maximise the opportunity they present. You will need to be able to demonstrate a successful track record in the aftersales arena, ideally within a multi-franchised motor retailer. You must be steadfastly centric and be able to develop and deliver initiatives that deliver long-term customer relationships. An ability to develop long term, aligned and valued relationships with our manufacturer partners is a must.

You will be expected to drive the business forward by motivating your teams across the Division to maximise performance and customer satisfaction. You will be able to demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Given the geographical scope of the Division, the successful applicant should expect to be required to stay away from home for business purposes on a weekly basis.
