As one of the largest Motor Retailer in the UK Vertu Motorsí continued success is based on strong performance, growth and leadership, this is especially true in our successful Vauxhall Division. Our Mission Statement "To deliver an outstanding customer motoring experience through honesty and trust" is central to the role of any General Manager in our business, ensuring our customers receive the right experience for them and our colleagues are developed to be the best that they can be. Following some internal moves, we are searching for experienced General Managers to join us as either a General Manager in our Knaresborough or Keighley Sites or for the right person, as a CMA Manager to cover both. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take a step up from General Management and wanting to expand on the success already achieved by these two very different dealerships. You will have a strong track record as a General Manager within the sector and a drive to achieve excellence by delivering both financial and customer centric results, even when it means rolling your sleeves up! You will be accountable for all aspects of the site, fostering manufacturer relationship, introducing marketing strategies to improve performance, controlling finance and cost control and of course people management. You must have strong leadership skills as your primary focus will be to motivate and inspire our passionate and committed teams to be the best that they can be, while ensuring policies, processes and legislation are adhered to and customer and colleague health and safety is prioritised to ensure everyone goes home safe at the end of each day. As a CMA Manager you would have the added complexity of managing two sites, one much larger than the other, ensuring both teams receive the support and development they should expect from any Vertu Manager and that both sites have strategies in place to take them to the next level of success in New, Used and Service.
We will reward you well and would expect that you earn at least £110k per year in the CMA role with the ability to earn significantly more should you exceed the realistic targets agreed with you.
