Due to the continued success and growth of the Vertu Motors plc Group of Companies, we are looking to recruit a Group Property Maintenance Manager to be based at our Head Office in Team Valley, Gateshead. The purpose of this role is to deliver a support to the dealership outlets and manage and maintain the standards of all our built assets. The role will be a key influence on the dynamics of the Retail Business and Customer Experience and has been established to develop the management of that central control activity. We are looking for the successful candidate to be professional, capable of working on their own, highly motivated and self-managed with excellent communication and team skills. We have a large portfolio of over 130 properties around the country and you will play an instrumental role in maintaining the final product to the highest of standards. You will be expected to develop further our supply chain, controlled financially in accordance with budget constraints. Show knowledge on technical aspects and drive repairs to right fix first time, you must be energetic and proactive even in the arena of Reactive Maintenance.
Ideally you will have will have a construction background having Project Management, Quantity Surveying or Building Surveying, be of graduate level with experience and able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Built Environment. You should have a proven record in Planned and Reactive Maintenance. Our aim is to improve year on year our delivery to the Group in terms of driving repair times and cost down with improvements to stock and specification standardisation. Making improvements and staying with market upgrades where possible.
