Due to continuous success and growth of Vertu Motors plc Group we are looking to recruit a newly qualified Group Accountant to join our busy and successful team. This post having become available due to a recent internal promotion. The role of the Group Accountant will cover various aspects of Group accounting, focusing predominantly on providing timely and accurate financial information to Group Senior Management including the Plc Board, as well as reporting to various external stakeholders. You will assist in the preparation of the Group consolidated and subsidiary statutory accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards, excellent attention to detail is a key requirement. Regular working capital and treasury reporting and cash forecasting will be a key element of the role, including regular contact with the Groups senior Divisional finance team as well as the Groups Corporate banks so excellent communication skills are essential.
As such, exceptional leadership skills are required as well as a proven track record within Accounts. You MUST be ACA qualified, and preferably this will represent your first move out of practice. A strong academic background is a given with good first time passes in professional examinations.
In addition, exceptional communication skills are required, you must be a good team player with a robust and resilient personality.
