HR Business Partner

Up to £40,000 depending on experience, plus benefits and Company Car

Due to the recent expansion and growth here at Vertu Motors, we are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our team. As the 5th largest Motor retailer in the UK with 146 retail sales outlets UK wide, this vacancy represents a superb opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our highly commercial and agile HR team working within a large growing PLC.

You will work closely with the Divisional Leadership Team and supported by the Head of HR Business Partnering to drive the delivery of the Groups HR strategy within one of our fast paced retail Division. As well as covering multiple franchises this role incorporates responsibility for dealerships geographically dispersed dealerships located across the UK.

Therefore this role can be based from anywhere within the country.

You will provide advice that is risk based and commercially focused to ensure you facilitate transformational and organisational change throughout your division. You will be expected to manage business acquisitions, TUPE transfers, remunerations schemes, colleague stability, harmonisation exercises, talent development, colleague engagement, change management and strategic planning on a regular basis.

You will be CIPD qualified (or working towards) with demonstrable experience of delivering talent, coaching and management development interventions in a multi-site organisation. You must be able to demonstrate your success at coaching managers and changing their behaviours. Additionally, experience delivering a wide range of complex HR advice and support is desired as this role will work in partnership with the established central HR functions including Employee Relations, Recruitment, Training, Reward and Benefit.

It is absolutely essential that you are able to influence people and drive forward the leadership capability of the division. You must be commercially focused and be able to clearly demonstrate how your activities have an impact on the business. It is expected that the successful candidate will be willing to undertake notable business travel in order to effectively influence management and guide and support the dealership management teams in all people related matters.

Essential Criteria
- CIPD qualified (or working towards)
- Strong foundation in Employee Relations
- IT Literacy including Microsoft packages
- Numeracy and Literacy Skills
- Attention to Detail and Accuracy
- Require strong planning and organising skills
- A valid UK driving license


Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of TUPE Transfers
- Remunerations Schemes and Harmonisation of T&Cs
- Resource and Business Planning
- Previous HR Generalist Experience
- Recruitment Experience
- Psychometric Testing
