The Dealership Accountants primary role is to provide the General Manager with financial support to drive operational performance. You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the entire accounts function. A key aspect of the role is the delivery of timely and accurate management accounts and their integration into the Group's standard structures. You will maintain and develop controls to maximise returns and cash flow and utilise your financial and management experience to ensure the effective running of the dealership. This role will be based at Honda Grantham but it will also cover our Honda Lincoln and Honda Boston dealerships.
We firmly believe that the Dealership Accountant is the second in command in the dealership. As such, exceptional leadership skills are essential for this role. It is essential that you have experience in the motor industry. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Kerridge Accountancy software. Excellent numerical and administrative ability are essential tools for this position and you will also have the ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients and customers.
