We're looking for a hard-working and self-motivated person to join our fast-growing marketing department to assist with the delivery of website-based automation campaigns. As the website marketing automation manager, you will be responsible for planning, building and executing automated cross channel communications to visitors across our entire portfolio of brands which include Bristol Street Motors, Vertu Motors, Vans Direct and Macklin Motors.

We are able to offer a competitive basic salary of up to £35,000 and we also offer Hybrid working for this role.For this role we can offer a substantial relocation package for the right person. This role will lead a team of Digital marketing automation executives in a newly created team and gives the right individual an exciting opportunity to make their mark, influence and contribute directly to the success of the team and business. The focus will be to use current performance, insight and 'end-to-end' thinking to set up automated marketing in a new tech platform.

Tasks

  • Own transactional communication across the email, SMS and other CRM channels that arise from or cross website traffic
  • Management and monitoring of multiple nurture programs, conducting regular reviews and analysis to help ensure leads progress through the sales funnel
  • Implement A/B testing campaigns to identify the best performing setups
  • Integrating campaign activity with our CRM and Performance marketing
  • Develop analytics (dashboards, reports) to measure the effectiveness of all channels used
  • Monitor, manage, and optimise campaigns and campaign assets to improve ROI, using Segment analytics suite and GA to report on the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns
  • Help implement new product features to enhance Segment functionality
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure automated campaigns achieve company goals

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Web Squad leads to prioritise Automation communication work within the broader business context
  • Work more broadly with the marketing team to identify opportunities
  • Work closely with the performance marketing team to identify acquisition opportunities
  • Work closely with the CRM team to identify and deliver customer acquisition and retention opportunities
  • You will work closely with the data team to understand and gain insight from channel attribution and where the pain points are
  • Develop relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across the wider business. (product, development, creative, CRO, field marketing, dealerships)

Is this you? Do you have?

  • Previous marketing automation experience with systems a must - experience with Twillio Segment preferred but other similar customer data platforms will be considered.
  • Proven expertise mastering the complete marketing mix, in particular retargeting and email campaigns promoting content, events, and other calls-to-action
  • Well practiced in planning and executing campaigns to drive leads through the sales funnel
  • Analytical and numbers driven mind-set to make start doing/stop doing decisions based on data
  • Understanding of how to segment databases to create audience specific campaigns
  • Able to take an analytical and agile approach, learning from A/B testing to improve conversion
  • Software marketing experience
  • Excellent planning and communication skills
  • Proactive at recommending and implementing new initiatives to generate and nurture leads
  • Collaborative and driven to support the bigger picture success of the team as a whole
  • Proven experience implementing and executing digital marketing plans
  • A Bachelor's degree in a marketing, analytics, or business-related field?
  • Experience in the design and delivery of Marketing Automation plans and projects, preferably performing the Manager of marketing Automation or similar
  • An ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insight to create solutions and actions?
  • Proven project management skills?
  • An ability to understand best in class practices from the motor and other industries and adapt and apply them to Vertu?
  • Good presentation skills
