Job description

At Vertu Honda Mansfield, we are currently looking for a New & Used Car Sales Executive to join our brilliant sales team! All our staff are incredibly experienced and knowledgeable about the cars we work with, and we are always on hand to provide help and lend expertise for anything our customer needs.

As a Sales Executive, you will be required to assist customers throughout the journey of purchasing a new vehicle. You will take the customers initial enquiry by internet, phone, referral or walk-in, progress to a test drive, discuss finance, insurance and accessory products, take their order, arrange a bespoke handover and post hand delivery contact. You will have a natural ability to build a rapport with customers to help identify their needs and deliver an exceptional customer service.

We are holding an assessment centre on Thursday 10th February at 11am and would love for you to join us!

We are looking for a talented individual who is brilliant with people to join the team selling vehicles and a range of selected finance and insurance products. You will also need to have a Full UK Driving License to be considered for this role.

You will be trained in the first two weeks of your employment on our sales process, closely followed by proactive telephone sales skills to enable you to convert sales prospecting into appointments.

Career progression is important to us so if you are looking to progress your career you will receive dedicated manufacturer training and within 2 years could be on track to become a Business Manager or be enrolled on our Sales Manager Development Programme. We have a well-established team on site and a very supportive management team who will ensure they do all that they can to support your career aspirations!

We also offer our own in-house Management Development and General Management Programmes in conjunction with our training provider Dale Carnegie. For this role, we are looking for the successful candidate to have Sales experience, ideally face to face or telesales but this is not essential.


If your application is successful, we will need to complete employment checks prior to you starting with us. For this role, these can include us verifying your recent employment, address and credit history. We may also conduct a criminal record check and a driving licence check.
