Here at Vertu Motors PLC we are looking to recruit an Online Content Manager with experience and a passion for connecting and building relationships via online channels. This is new role within the business and it is a critical role taking control of our online conversations.
This role is to specialise in Social Media channel marketing and development and Website content and will be responsible for our social media channels and content team activities, being instrumental in managing the companys content-related assets.
You will also will also be responsible for creating two-way communication via live chat, social channels and company websites between consumers and our brands, while tracking consumer activities, behaviours and purchase patterns so that we can provide tailored information to consumers based on those activities. Our local Facebook strategy is fundamental to our Social media and content strategy and therefore working with our Divisional Marketing managers and the Dealerships in order to shape delivery locally is paramount.
Main duties will involve:
Manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
Shape the public perception of our brands by influencing, creating and shaping the information about us online, and report using tools such as Hootsuite and Reputology
Deliberate planning and goal setting and monitoring
Educate colleagues on the use of social media and promote its use within our company
Plan content and delivery for Live Chat and Social channels and use tools like Hootsuite and Asana to manage multiple social media channels
Write engaging blog posts and articles and work with creative teams to create engaging multimedia content such as videos, and/or outsource this effectively
Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics
Work with Customer experience teams to influence social media and review communities by shaping our response to social media posts and developing discussions
Form key relationships with external agencies and influencers across the social media platforms
Within this role we are looking for you to have substantial experience in Marketing with evidence of social media marketing. You will need to have working knowledge of SEO principles including keyword research and Google Analytics. You will need to be knowledgeable in the principles of Search and Social and Highly proficient in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics.
You will also need to have:
Proven track record in lead generation
Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
Proven experience in Google Tag Manager, campaign set up execution and tracking
Strong background in consumer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies.
