We are now recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our current team based at Team Valley, Gateshead. The basic salary is up to £23,000 and this is a full time role, working Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week.
This role encompasses the full monthly payroll cycle using the CORE HR Payroll system, you will be required to join new starters to the payroll, process leavers and absences, undertake the necessary checking and balancing of the payroll, and supporting the wider payroll team where necessary.
For this role we are looking for you to have a minimum of two years experience in either payroll or finance. You will need to have an AAT qualification or CIPP qualification. The successful individual must have a basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel. As part of the role, you will reconcile and compare reports through the use of spreadsheets. Accuracy, numeracy and consistency are all essential qualities to be successful in this role.
