Due to expansion here at Macklin Motors Hyundai Edinburgh East we have some great opportunities! We are currently looking to recruit a Prep Technician to help develop and grow their business. It's a really exciting time to join the team and be part of our ambitious expansion plans for the future.

We are offering a basic salary up to £31,440 with an OTE up to £35,440. In addition to this we are offering a £1,500 sign on bonus and an additional £1,500 in month 13 of your employment.

We are looking for an individual who can provide technical and specialist knowledge gained from either an independent garage or franchised dealer. As a Prep Technician you will carry out vehicle preparations on new and used vehicles in order to feed them through to our dealerships for sale. You will be expected to work efficiently and play an important role in helping to ensure that the vehicle is moved through the stages of preparing, testing, repairing and quality checking.

In order to be successful, you must possess the following:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Own Set of Tools
• Full UK Driving Licence
