We are looking for a curious, analytical product owner who will join a team that is dedicated to optimising our customers' experience across a portfolio of digital products.

We are able to offer a competitive basic salary of up to £33,000 along with hybrid working from the heart of our marketing office, based in Gateshead. For this role we can offer a substantial relocation package for the right person. As Product Manager you will be responsible for implementing the vision, the strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of products. You'll take your product and features from ideation and discovery through design, delivery, preparation for launch, measuring of success, and iteration.

Working closely within the digital products/conversion squad, you are ultimately responsible for making sure we're building the right things for our customers.

This role is ideal for someone with 3-5 years' experience in digital marketing, who has a level of product experience knowledge and is looking to refine their skills in a rapidly growing business and is someone that can get up to speed and become autonomous quickly.

As a team we have adopted the Agile methodology as a way of working focusing on fundamental concepts of collaboration, constant focus on business value, and appropriate level of quality.


  • Work and collaborate with a multidisciplinary squad (Developers, UXers, Content designers, Data Analysts, SEO & Marketing automation)
  • Translate user needs into compelling user stories that can be absorbed as part of sprints.
  • Develop project briefs and requirements, prioritise and manage project and BAU backlogs
  • Contribute to integrated strategies and maintain product roadmaps which are aligned with marketing initiatives and business objectives.
  • Bring together multi-disciplined teams to develop solutions and improvements to the full customer lifecycle - acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Develop relationships, collaborate and manage stakeholder expectations within the team and across the wider business. (SEO, PPC, development, creative, CRO, marketing directors, dealerships).
  • Facilitate cross team collaboration meetings and workshops.
  • Understand commercial levers and how they are impacted by product performance and customer engagement.
  • Be the source of truth of product performance, providing the insight and the why.

Things we look for in you

  • Experience working within an online retail environment.
  • An ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insight to create solutions and actions?
  • An ability to understand and manage customer journeys?
  • Proven project management skills?
  • An ability to understand best in class practices from the motor and other industries and adapt and apply them to Vertu?
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex messages visually and creatively?
  • Data analysis across a variety of channels including web, paid, social and SEO/SEM.
  • Analytics tools such as Hotjar, Google Analytics, Google optimize.
  • Experience in working with on and off-line sales team
  • You love the little wins as much as the big ones and understand that incrementality is a key driver of success.
  • Care about the 'why' above all else, with the ability to persuade and involve others in decision making
  • Ability to lead, organise and inspire content, designers and developers with a clear and inclusive vision
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills, able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders and team members
  • Ensuring data is the foundation to all decisions and developments
