Job description

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Manager to support our Head of Group Valeting throughout our dealer network in the Midlands and South of the UK.

This is a hands-on role and will require extensive travel throughout the UK. There will be times when you will be required to travel outside of your area to assist in another Region.You will work from different dealerships on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will live in the East or West Midlands.

We are offering a competitive basic salary with an OTE of £40,000 plus an excellent range of company benefits plus company car!

You will be required to support the dealerships to ensure they get the best valeting service possible.

Experience in valeting and vehicle preparation is essential, preferably within a vehicle sales environment. The main duties of the role are to:

  • Stabilise and improve the quality of our valeting provision
  • Raise the profile of our in-house and outsourced valeters
  • Collate data and implement processes to improve efficiencies
  • Conduct site audits on every dealership visit
  • Carry out risk assessments
  • Hold meetings with general, sales and service managers and interact with the entire dealership team whilst on site
  • Quality check vehicles in the showroom and on the forecourt
  • Ensure Vertu valet bay standards are adhered to
  • Train and develop valeters and dealership sales and service advisors to use the online valeting platform at that location
  • Ensure uniform and correct PPE is in use
  • Organise and plan in advance, to ensure your time is utilised as effective as possible

You must have strong leadership and people management skills, as your primary focus it to motivate, develop and inspire people. This is a challenging role and you will be able to demonstrate that you possess the following skills and qualities - communication, teamwork, resilience, flexibility, empathy and professionalism.
