Here at Vertu Motors Land Rover Chesterfield we have a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our business. If you have recently qualified, or have experience from either a main dealer or independent garage we want to hear from you.

We are offering a basic salary of up to £39,600 with an OTE of up to £43,600 depending upon skills and experience, working 40 hours per week! There will also be overtime opportunities.

We are also offering a sign on bonus of £1,000, plus another £1,000 in month 13 of your employment!

As a Vehicle Technician you will be a key member of our team, maintaining vehicles to the highest standards as set out in our Health and Safety policy, carrying out inspections, repairs and services and handling and storing parts. In addition you will be required to deliver an outstanding customer experience at all times.

The packages we are offering are dependent upon experience and accreditation however you can expect packages as below:

• Prep Technician basic salary up to £30,000 and OTE of £34,000
• Service and Maintenance Technician basic salary up to £30,000 and OTE of £34,000
• Service and Diagnostic Technician basic salary up to £32,400 and OTE of £36,400
• Senior Technicians basic salary up to £34,800 and OTE of £38,800
• Master Technician basic salary up to £39,600 and OTE of £43,600

In addition you will be required to deliver an outstanding customer experience. As we have numerous opportunities, we would love to talk to you if your experience is from an independent dealer or volume franchise dealer.

All of our technicians are provided with full manufacturer training and development to further their career. So if you want to specialise in building your accreditation within a specific brand or multiple brands, we will be there to support you.

In order to be successful, you must hold:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Recent experience within a dealership environment
• A full UK Driving Licence
• Own set of tools

If your application is successful, we will need to complete the usual employment checks prior to you starting with us. For this role, these can include us verifying your recent employment, address and credit history. We may also conduct a criminal record check and a driving licence check.
