How can I contact the recruitment team?

You can contact our recruitment team directly on 0330 017 1022 from 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours, you can email [email protected] and a member of the team will be in touch.

What is the holiday allowance?

We offer a generous holiday allowance to help you strike the perfect balance between work and life.

You'll receive 25 days holiday as standard, plus 8 bank holidays and the option to purchase an additional three days. Your allowance also grows with you, increasing to 29 days with length of service.

Is there a dress code?

All customer facing colleagues must wear a navy blue or black suit with a white shirt and black shoes. For colleagues who are not customer facing, your manager has a copy of the dress code policy and will set out how this applies to you.

Do you offer work experience placements?

Yes! We offer work experience placements in many of our locations and departments, but this is reviewed on an individual basis. If you want to know more, send your CV and cover letter to [email protected], with details of the location, department, and role you're interested in. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate work experience in our workshops.

When will I find out if my application is successful?

We aim to review all applications within 30 days; however, this can sometimes be longer if we receive a high number of applicants. If you don't hear from us after 30 days unfortunately you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.

What does the interview process look like?

The interview process can be different for individual roles. However, you can expect:

  • 1. An initial phone call with the recruitment team to find out more about you and your experience
  • 2. An online psychometric assessment dependent on role
  • 3. First Interview
  • 4. Second Interview
  • 5. Job offer

What should I do if I�m having issues uploading my CV?

Do I need to have experience working in the motor industry to apply for a role?

Some of our positions do require previous experience in a similar role and environment, along with specific qualifications. However, many of our roles don't require specific experience. You can find out what experience is needed in the job advert of the role you are interested in applying for.

Do you accept applications from overseas?

At Vertu Motors, we welcome all applications, however we are unfortunately unable to provide sponsorships for working visas. To apply for a role, you must have the right to work in the UK and you may be asked to provide documentation such as a passport to support this.

Can I still apply for a role if a previous application was unsuccessful?

Yes! You can apply for any other roles that you think you may be suitable for.

What training will I receive?

We offer a range of training opportunities from day one, with ongoing career support and a variety of programmes throughout your career depending on your role.

Technicians receive full manufacturer training to become manufacturer accredited, and our Evolution Rising Talent Programme is available to sales, aftersales, and accounts colleagues. Depending on your role, including full manufacturer training for our Technicians and our Evolution Rising Talent Programmes for our Sales, Aftersales and Accounts colleagues.
