Bolton Sales Manager Tackles Tour de France Stage For Prostate Cancer UK

Paul Nichols, Fleet Sales Manager at Vertu Jaguar Land Rover Bolton, has taken on a gruelling cycling challenge to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.
Paul rode the Grand Depart stage of the Tour de France – a demanding 185km route that started and finished in Lille, France – just one week before the professionals compete in the iconic race, with a target of completing the route in six to seven hours.
The cause is one close to Paul’s heart. He has seen the impact of prostate cancer on those around him and is determined to support efforts that promote earlier detection and better outcomes for men.
“Prostate cancer affects one in eight men in the UK,” said Paul. “I’ve known people who have been touched by it, and I strongly believe that lowering the age of screening could save lives. Prostate Cancer UK is doing vital work to raise awareness and push for these changes, and I’m proud to support them.”
Paul trained hard for the challenge and hopes the community will get behind him to raise as much money as possible for the charity.
