Bradford Man Named Vertu Business Manager Of The Year
A Bradford motor retail professional has been named as Business Manager of the Year by the UK’s fourth largest automotive retailer, Vertu.
Josh Kelly, Business Manager at Vertu Renault Bradford, beat colleagues from across nearly 200 Vertu dealerships up and down the UK to pick up the award.
Since joining the Group in 2021 as an Advisor, Josh has exemplified dedication, rapid development, and outstanding performance. He has consistently demonstrated a remarkable ability to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and excel in every role he has undertaken.
In 2023, his drive and consistent overachievement earned him a well-deserved promotion to Sales Executive, where he continually surpassed targets to stand out as one of the top performers in his region; earning a Masters Award for most used cars sold.
Recognising his exceptional results and leadership potential, Josh was promoted to Business Manager in 2024 - a year that also saw him join the prestigious Elite Sales Guild, marking him as one of the Group’s highest achievers.
Josh Kelly said: “This award means so much to me. Starting as an Advisor just a few years ago, I’ve always focused on learning and improving every day.
“The support from my colleagues and the culture at Vertu have been key to my development. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited to keep pushing for even greater results.”
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu Motors plc, said: “Josh’s professionalism, consistency, and leadership embody Vertu’s values.
“His journey from Advisor to Business Manager in just three years is a testament to his ambition, capability, and relentless pursuit of success. He is a fantastic example of what ambition and hard work can achieve.”
