Lichfield Accountant Wins Prestigious National Award
Lichfield-based accountant Cheryl Redford has been named as the Bill Teasdale Accountant of the Year for 2025 by award-winning automotive retailer Vertu Motors, recognising her outstanding contribution to financial operations.
Based at Vertu Lichfield Vauxhall, Cheryl has played a key role in supporting the divisional central finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processes that underpin the business.
The award celebrates her commitment to excellence and her ability to deliver consistently high standards.
The award is named in memory of Bill Teasdale, a much-respected figure within Vertu Motors plc – Europe’s seventh largest motor retailer - who sadly passed away in 2022 after a period of illness.
Bill was a stalwart of the group, known for his dedication and professionalism throughout his career, and his exceptionalism lives on in the accolade issued in his honour.
