Omoda And Jaecoo Arrive In Macclesfield With Vertu
Vertu, the UK’s fourth-largest automotive retailer, has expanded its relationship with two of the fastest-growing automotive brands in the UK market after opening a second dealership representing Omoda and Jaecoo.
Vertu Omoda Macclesfield and Vertu Jaecoo Macclesfield will operate from the existing dealership on Lyme Green Business Park, formerly Vertu Vauxhall Macclesfield, where sales of new Vauxhall models have now ended.
Alongside new car sales for both Omoda and Jaecoo, the dealership will continue to operate as an authorised Vauxhall repair and aftersales site to meet the needs of existing customers from within Macclesfield and the surrounding area.
The introduction of Omoda and Jaecoo to the Cheshire market town follows the successful launch of Vertu’s first dealership representing the two brands earlier this year in Burton.
Omoda and Jaecoo have made a huge impression since their UK launch by parent company Chery, with a combined market share second only to Volkswagen in August.
That was thanks to strong sales for the Jaecoo 7, Jaecoo 5 and Omoda 5, all of which were inside the top six biggest-sellers for the month.
The Jaecoo 7, which is offered with either petrol, hybrid or plug-in hybrid powertrains, is currently the third best-selling car of the year to date – beaten only by the Ford Puma and Kia Sportage.
Both the Omoda and Jaecoo ranges can now be seen at the site, which is undergoing a significant refurbishment programme to reflect its new brand partners.
