Vertu Adds Mazda Franchise To Industry Leading Fleet Business
Vertu has expanded its industry leading fleet business after being named as a member of Mazda’s Fleet Dealer Specialist network.
The award-winning automotive retailer is one of the largest suppliers of fleet vehicles in the UK, utilising strong manufacturer ties to supply more than 45,000 vehicles each year to organisations of all sizes.
Mazda’s decision to add Vertu to its Fleet Dealer Specialist network comes as Mazda introduces the much-anticipated Mazda6e, with the Mazda CX-6e set to follow later in the year.
With both models offering range of more than 300 miles and fast-charging capabilities, the pair are expected to be popular with fleet customers looking to transition to electric vehicles.
Vertu’s hugely successful fleet centre in Birmingham – which recently took on franchises for both BYD and Geely – will be responsible for dealing with fleet enquiries for the Mazda range, with customers able to explore the models in person at nearby Vertu Mazda Redditch.
Brian Naughton, General Manager of Birmingham Fleet, said: “With the new Mazda6e arriving to market and the CX-6e set to follow later in the year, there is a real opportunity for Mazda to grow and expand within the fleet sector in the UK.
“With the knowledge and expertise that we have within our team, we are ideally placed to work alongside Mazda to promote two highly-appealing new models to fleet buyers, and are delighted to have joined the manufacturer’s fleet network.”
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu, said: “Being named as a member of the Mazda Fleet Dealer Specialist network reflects the strength of our fleet business.
“We look forward to working more closely with Mazda and showcasing their upcoming models to the fleet sector.”
