Vertu Ford Durham Backs Grassroots Rugby With Houghton RUFC Sponsorship
Vertu Ford Durham has strengthened its commitment to community sport by supporting Houghton Rugby Union Football Club (RUFC), providing backing for the club’s grassroots teams.
The support aims to help the club continue growing its grassroots section, which plays a vital role in introducing young players to rugby and fostering participation across the local community.
Houghton RUFC has a long-standing reputation for developing players from a young age through to senior level, with its junior and mini sections forming a key part of the club’s identity and future.
The club provides a full playing pathway with teams spanning mini, junior and senior rugby, supported by a network of volunteer coaches and organisers who deliver weekly training and fixtures.
The partnership will see Vertu Ford Durham branding take centre stage at Houghton RUFC, including signage on the main board positioned on the changing room building – the most prominent advertising space at the ground – alongside a pitch-side board and product placement at all home fixtures throughout the season.
