Vertu Renault & Dacia Exeter Supports Miscarriage Association

Vertu Renault & Dacia Exeter was proud to support a special charity dinner and dance that took place over the weekend in aid of the Miscarriage Association.

Organised by Exmouth-based fundraiser Tracey Cheyne, the event was held at Woodbury Park Golf Club, Exeter. The evening raised raise vital funds for the Miscarriage Association, a UK charity that offers emotional and practical support to those affected by the loss of a baby during pregnancy.

The dealership stepped in to sponsor the music for the evening, helping to create a memorable atmosphere for guests attending the event.

Tracey, who has experienced multiple miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy, has been fundraising for the Miscarriage Association for the past two years.

She said: “This charity is incredibly close to my heart. After my last miscarriage, their online support was a lifeline during one of the darkest times of my life.

“Events like this are not only a way to raise much-needed funds, but also to highlight the work the Miscarriage Association does to support women and families going through such trauma. I’m truly grateful to Vertu Renault & Dacia Exeter for their kind sponsorship, which will help make the evening even more special.”

Kirk Broome, General Manager at Vertu Renault & Dacia Exeter said: “We were honoured to support Tracey and this very worthy cause. The Miscarriage Association plays a vital role in helping people at a time of deep personal grief and uncertainty, and we’re pleased to help raise both awareness and funds through this special event. We hope Tracey and all involved had a great time on the night.”

The Miscarriage Association’s work is carried out by a small but dedicated team, supported by volunteers across the country. The charity also promotes better awareness of pregnancy loss and encourages good practice in medical care.
