Burnley Football Club Announces Vertu As Official Front Of Shirt Partner

Burnley Football Club is delighted to announce Vertu as the Club’s new Official Front of Shirt Principal Partner, with the award-winning automotive retailer becoming front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2026/27 season. 

The new partnership marks a fresh chapter in the relationship between Vertu and the Clarets, building on a relationship which began in 2022/23, with the retailer taking on one of the most prominent commercial positions at Turf Moor. Vertu branding will feature on the Men’s, Women’s and Academy First Team shirts from today.

Vertu first joined forces with Burnley FC ahead of the 2022/23 season, when the Club secured the EFL Championship title in record-breaking fashion. Since then, the partnership has continued to grow through a range of initiatives focused on supporting people and communities across Burnley and wider East Lancashire. 

Vertu’s annual Festive Food Drive at Turf Moor has provided vital support for families facing hardship during the winter months, while projects delivered alongside Burnley FC in the Community have supported a number of local causes.  

Having previously held the role of Official Automotive Retail Partner, Vertu featured on the back of Club shirts during the 2022/23 season. During the 2024/25 campaign, the Vertu Motors group featured its Bristol Street Motors brand as part of its centenary celebrations. Bristol Street Motors has since consolidated into the Vertu retail brand. 

The new agreement further strengthens Vertu’s commitment to Burnley and the local area, while increasing visibility for the UK’s fourth-largest automotive retailer. 

Vertu will retain a strong matchday presence at Turf Moor and continue to work alongside Burnley FC in the Community, including through the brand’s nearby Vertu Land Rover Nelson dealership, ensuring the partnership continues to deliver impact both on and off the pitch. 

The partnership will also create new opportunities for supporters to engage with the Club through exclusive content, experiences and activations throughout the season, with further initiatives to be announced.
