Macklin Motors kits out local junior football club
Three Macklin Motors dealerships have joined forces to help a young Scottish football team look the part at a prestigious tournament, and into the new season.
Petersburn Thistle under 13s recently took part in one of the longest-running football festivals in the country, in Blackpool, only losing in the final following a penalty shoot out.
The youngsters were all kitted out in Macklin Motors strips and track suits, which they will also wear throughout next season thanks to the sponsorship from Dunfermline Ford, Glasgow Ford and Hamilton Ford.
Macklin Motors Kevin Kane said: “We are delighted to be backing Petersburn Thistle as it will help young people in the area develop their sporting skills in a productive way.
“Sport brings people together and is a very important part of the community, and Macklin Motors appreciates the significance of supporting local organisations and recognises its role in giving something back to the area. We look forward to hearing about the team’s future successes.”
