Experienced Automotive Leader Strengthens Vertu Nissan Tamworth Team
Vertu has strengthened the leadership team at its Nissan dealership in Tamworth with the appointment of Rav Mangat as General Manager.
Rav brings more than 30 years of automotive industry experience to the role and has held a number of senior management positions with a range of organisations across the sector.
Prior to joining Vertu in late July, Rav was given the responsibility of taking on an underperforming dealership within another automotive group, playing a key role in improving business performance and helping to boost both customer satisfaction and reputational scores.
Having spent around a third of his career working with the Nissan brand, Rav will now oversee the day-to-day running of Vertu Nissan Tamworth, which is located on Ventura Park Road, close to Cardinal Point Retail Park.
The Tamworth site was acquired by Vertu, the UK’s fourth largest automotive retailer, back in 2023 following the collapse of Cazoo into administration and was transformed into Vertu’s 13th Nissan dealership following an extensive refurbishment programme and investment of more than £400,000.
That investment ensured that the dealership met Nissan’s latest dealer standards, and reflected Vertu’s ongoing commitment to customers in Tamworth and the wider region.
Vertu Nissan Tamworth offers the full range of new and approved used Nissan vehicles, including the latest electric models such as the reborn Micra and the third generation Leaf, alongside MOT and servicing facilities.
